Dianne is very thankful to her heavenly Father for all blessings and artistic gifts. As a backup vocalist, she has performed and traveled with the likes of many local and national recording artists such as Vesta, Phil Perry, Otis Clay, Gene Chandler, Mikki Howard Jon Lucien, and others.
Most recently, Dianne was blessed with the honor of also working and traveling with world-renowned artist Aretha Franklin for 3 years. She was seen performing with Aretha on many national TV shows including Diva’s Live 98, with guests Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Gloria Estefan, Shania Twain, and Carol King, The Rosie O’Donnell show, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Good Morning America, and the View with Barbara Walters.
As for VocalPoynt, Dianne hopes that the groups’ unique vocal style of Jazz, Pop and other influences will create a mass appeal in the US as well as European markets. She looks forward to the groups’ upcoming Jazz CD release and hopefully taking the show on the road. Ultimately, Dianne would like to release her own debut CD and hone acting skills for movie and TV projects.
